At the heart of Thanksgiving, a photograph captured by Renald Prébé, known as Ray Creation, in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue on the island of Montreal, becomes the focal point of a deep meditation on beauty, the passage of time, and the mysteries of existence. In front of the Saint Lawrence River, an empty bench stands as a silent memorial to a couple who grew old together, observing the course of life over time.
